Alan got promoted to 3rd Class Petty Officer. That makes me excited! Now he will be making more money, and will hopefully get more respect.

I'm moving to Jacksonville next weekend!!! So exciting. I cannot wait. We have our apartment and Alan is signing the lease today! Wow. I can't believe how fast life passes by.

I'm graduating from college in 14 days. I don't have a job yet, but I have a few really good prospect. I'll start interviewing when I get down there in January. I really want to take some time off to relax and get all of our stuff in order. There is so much to do....get a military ID, tags for my car, Florida license, base pass for my car...blah blah blah. We have to see the lawyer to change power of attorney before he goes on deployment in June and all that crap.

Other than that, I'm psyched!! Haven't used that word since 1998!! ha.
Current Mood: workingor at least pretending to!

If you and Alan are keeping Alabama as your home port/home state/state of residence, I recommend not changing your tags and license. (You are not required to if you are military.) You can also keep your insurance through AL, which is cheaper in most cases. Because you will be moving about every two-three years, it's lots easier to keep it in AL. Just a suggestion. Congrats on graduation. Are you walking? I will be in attendance for another friend and I would love to see you.

I didn't know that. That's great info. He has already changed to Florida though, since he has been there since June and we aren't leaving until 2010. We plan on staying in florida since his contract expires right when he would change to a new port.

I am walking! Hopefully I will find you to say hi!
